Pfeiffer pianos are extremely rare, still handmade in Germany to this day in very small numbers and superb quality

This piano was fully restored at significant expense 15 years ago. The piano has been fully restrung, all tuning pins replaced, action overhauled, hammers replaced, casework repolished and much more

The piano is similar in design to Bosendorfer, Grotrian Steinweg and Schimmel, and has a similar tone/ touch (but at a much lower price for the condition due to being a lesser known make)

Most unusually this piano has a third pedal which puts a felt celeste rail/ sordino rail in front of the hammers for quiet practise, or historically accurate performance using sordino

Outstanding tone and enormous bass - this piano sounds more like a 9ft concert grand
